Pacific Construction & Development is a growing general contracting company in Central Oregon that builds single and multi-family homes, commercial buildings, and custom homes. While they repositioned themselves as more than just a residential home builder to a full-service construction and development company, PCD asked the web development experts at GTMA to help build a site that communicated their rebrand.

This project rolled in with big dreams on a small budget. Our web development team ended up using the Divi theme to hit the ground running and give PCD the flexibility they needed.

Divi is an incredible tool that gives small businesses a way to get beautiful designs without all the custom development; the PCD web project required a few elements Divi did not already have built-in.

CUSTOM STAFF POP-UP MODULE.

The designer had a specific approach for the staff page that our web team needed to implement in a way that would be simple to manage and easy to integrate with Divi. We accomplished this using some standard WordPress tools—like Custom Post Types, Custom Fields, and Shortcode—and styled it up to the spec.

Although builder themes like Divi have some limitations (like looking repetitive), with the right approach and an experienced design + development team at the wheel, it can blossom with unique elements and a custom look.
