Pay Range: $18.50 – $20.50/hr

A Media Strategy Specialist is charged with campaign execution and supporting media strategy across our client base. This requires a foundational understanding of digital marketing as a whole as well as audience segmentation and targeting. You should be very familiar with the Google Ads advertising platform. A successful Media Strategy Specialist must be an effective communicator and possess the ability to thrive in a dynamic team environment. All members of the Media Strategy Team communicate with clients as expert advisors, create and execute successful campaigns for clients, and support the rest of the digital marketing team.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Uphold the company’s core values
  • Build and launch PPC, display and retargeting campaigns
  • Audit, test and optimize PPC, display, and retargeting campaigns
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of each client and property
  • Work collaboratively with our other teams (design, sales, production)

PAY-PER-CLICK (PPC) / Google Ads

  • Set up, manage, track, optimize and report on Google Ads Search, Display and Retargeting campaigns within the MCC Google Ads Dashboard
  • Work collaboratively with the rest of the digital team to achieve specific goals, specific audience targeting and keywords from the client for each PPC campaign and build Ad Groups, Ad Extensions, and more to target and achieve those goals
  • Complete keyword research for new PPC campaigns
  • Maintain Budgets for campaigns

QUALIFICATIONS

Must Haves:

  • Strong written & verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented, without losing perspective
  • Some experience with marketing creative and/or data analysis
  • Minimum 1-year Google Ads experience
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics

Great-to-Haves:

  • Google Analytics Certifications
  • Google Ads Certifications
  • Experience with client or inter-department communication
  • Bing and/or Yahoo! Gemini experience
  • Facebook and/or Instagram advertising experience
  • YouTube, Yelp, LinkedIn, Twitter and Snapchat advertising experience
  • Experience with structured text manipulation using Excel or Google Sheets
  • Multilingual
  • Degree in Statistics, Marketing, Journalism, Math, or Economics

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

This is an in-office position so office attendance is required and those not able to work in an office environment will not be granted reasonable accommodation to work remotely. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Requires the ability to walk, stand, sit and climb stairs alternatively for the purposes of completing office work.  Approximately 20% of the time spent walking and climbing and 80% sitting.
